Building a Design System
Healthy Gamer provides mental health support for the internet generation through coaching, content, and community engagement. In order to enhance their coaching platform, I created a design system to assist both designers and developers.
Design System for Healthy Gamer
UI Design | Documentation
I built and documented a solid design system which is now the reference for the entire platform.
“Hey, we need a designer to step in and help organize, as well as clean up all the various design pieces we have accumulated and dispatched over the years.”
Solution & Role:
My first mission was to successfully migrate all of the various existing designs from a multitude of sources into Figma. After completing this task, I then had to identify, index, and redesign all existing components, as well as those that were missing, in order to establish a comprehensive and solid design system for the production team to effectively use.
Another side of this project was to help built clear and effective processes and onboard the production team, as well as other department, into Figma by hosting workshops and creating didactic documentations.
This design system is now continuously evolving alongside the different Healthy Gamer products, their new features, and the overarching vision of the brand.
Context & Problem:
Healthy Gamer had not yet established a coherent design system, which has resulted in the current designs being predominantly driven by the development team. Most of the design created was not centralized and didn’t follow any clear guidelines and process. This situation has led to various inconsistencies in the visual and functional aspects of the designs, ultimately making maintenance and updates a much more challenging and time-consuming process but also impact directly the user experience Healthy Gamer offered to their clients.

I created a techy and dynamic experience for the user. I wanted them to feel onboard 🚀.
“Hi Aurélia, I want something bold, immersive and that user can remember! I want them to feel like they’re part of something special!”
Context & Problem:
Bemyapp is a prominent tech leader that excels at bringing together talented developers and innovative companies. With the striking rise of artificial intelligence, they recognized the need to offer structured, dynamic tools and resources that effectively train professionals on the intricacies of AI.
More than just a website, they envisioned a comprehensive reference platform for all professionals who aspire to learn more about AI and immerse themselves in this groundbreaking technology with workshop, conferences and in-person events. In addition to a tech-oriented look and feel, the client expressed a desire for a design that is both clean and solid, ensuring an engaging user experience.
Solution & Role:
The first step I had to take care of was the branding of the AI User Group. The client expressed a strong desire for the users to genuinely feel like part of a cohesive team and to actively engage in a common cause that resonates with them. To achieve this, I decided to explore the dynamic imagery commonly associated with sports team logos, ultimately resulting in a logo design that effectively unites all AI enthusiasts into a professional league of like-minded individuals.
In addition to embracing the team theme, I wanted to incorporate the concept of an expansive universe ripe for exploration, leading me to utilize a captivating space theme adorned with delicate, colorful abstract shapes that evoke a sense of wonder and creativity.
Refreshing a loan marketing website
Crédit Personnalisé provides clients with the best temporary short-term financial solutions. The company initiated a revamping project to update their website, ensuring a seamless experience.
Marketing website redesign for Crédit Personnalisé
UX/UI Design
I created a comprehensive design that effectively helps customers understand and confidently choose the loan solution that best fits their unique needs. My goal was for them to feel safe, empowered, and fully in control of their decision-making process.
“Hello, We need to refresh our loan website to enhance its appeal and functionality, but we don’t want to go too crazy with the design. Our aim is to achieve something that is both clean and polished, yet possesses a modern aesthetic that resonates with our target audience.”
Context & Problem:
The Credit personnalisé website was an old-fashioned platform, anchored firmly in the design trends of the 2000s, yet it was functioning fairly well. The client was understandably apprehensive about making any changes to something that seemed to be working effectively. However, in the meantime, they were aware that in order to appeal to a larger audience, particularly young adults and families, they needed to embrace a more modern and visually engaging design approach.
I had to thoroughly understand what specific elements made the site a safe and welcoming place for customers and why they would confidently trust the brand.
Solution & Role:
The challenge here was to ensure the client that the trust in the brand would not be negatively affected and, in fact, that sales would significantly increase as a result of our efforts!
We explored a variety of color themes and typography options, as this was the primary issue identified with the previous design. I delved into more contrasted colors, focusing on shades of blues and forest greens complemented by dynamic accent colors that would truly catch the eye. The ultimate aim was to create a visually appealing look that fosters trust and confidence in the brand, ensuring it resonates with our target audience.
Creating a unique idenity and website for Kriter
Kriter is your perfect partner for keeping track of movies and TV shows. Specializing in the captivating worlds of Fantasy, Horror, and Sci-Fi, it takes you on a journey to explore the most extraordinary genre films through expertly curated collections.
Branding, Marketing website Design for Kriter
Branding | UX/UI Design | Web design
I developed a visual experience, from branding to web design, to immerse Kriter’s users in a vibrant movie community, enabling them to connect and share their passion.
I wanted Kriter to be more than just another watchlist / movie database. I wanted it to be a real community of Fantasy, Horror, and Sci-Fi movies lovers
Context & Problem:
The challenge with Kriter was to create a truly recognizable design that works effectively beyond just movie posters. I wanted the user to not only feel part of a community but also to provide them with the opportunity to discover movies or TV shows based on their personal interests as well as on the insightful guidance of other users within the platform.
Kriter boasts a myriad of features, ranging from the classic "Add to Watchlist" option to more specific actions like "Curate a Collection." All of these features and actions needed to be presented in a way that is simple and clear for users, ensuring they can understand immediately what Kriter is all about and how it can enhance their movie lover experience.
Solution & Role:
For this project, I designed a cinematic and immersive design, focusing on dark, atmospheric look and feel. The design features full-bleed images drawing users into the featured content immediately. A dark theme, paired with vibrant accent colors and crisp typography, creates a mood that aligns with the genre while ensuring readability and visual hierarchy.
The layout is modular and intuitive, guiding users through featured shows, current theatre releases, editorial highlights, and personalized recommendations. Horizontal sliders and clear microinteractions make content easy to browse without overwhelming the user. The “Focus” section introduces editorial depth, giving the platform a unique voice. Overall, the design emphasizes storytelling, discoverability, and emotional resonance while staying scalable and user-centric.
